Hello, my name is Carol Bocchicchio and I have been professionally training dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages and temperaments for nearly twenty years. My philosophy is a simple one: "The key to successful and fulfilling dog ownership is being a good leader". Dogs need to know who's in charge and generally want to please. If your dog is confused about who is "running the show" or what behavior you are seeking, he or she won't know how to make you happy and will often just do what comes naturally to him or her. This confusion is the rudimentary cause of most behavioral and aggression issues. Your dog requires clear, concise boundaries and consistency in training to flourish and become the very best that he or she can be. If you are willing and able to devote the time to learn and reinforce my training techniques, a happy, well behaved, respectful and loving furry family member will be your reward!!!!!

My background and experience in dog obedience is comprehensive. I was trained by the very best: the highly respected and regionally-known duo of Dr. Perry Frantzman, a PhD in animal behavior, and his wife Sinikka, a master trainer. After several years under their tutelage, I integrated their proven methodologies for dog obedience with my philosophy for behavior modification and practical training techniques to develop the effective programs that I offer today.

I began my formal dog training career by volunteering at the local Animal Shelter in 1990. Working with dogs at the shelter and their unique challenges provided me with direct extensive experience in all aspects of dog training and behavior modification. I then set out on my own and began to offer classes in on-leash obedience, housebreaking and puppy orientation in both group settings and privately in owner's homes. In my nearly 20 years in dog obedience I have successfully trained thousands of eager students and their masters, in a high-energy, fun learning environment.
